Frequently Asked Questions

The first session is really just a conversation.
I'll ask about what's been going on and what brought you here, and you're welcome to ask me anything too. You don't need to have it all figured out before we start — that's what we're here to work through together.
-
Absolutely.
I offer a free 15-minute consultation so you can get a feel for how I work and ask any questions you have before deciding if you'd like to move forward. You can schedule one by calling or emailing — no pressure at all.

You don't need to be in crisis to deserve support. Therapy is for anyone who wants a dedicated, caring space to better understand themselves and navigate life more fully.

We'll talk, I'll listen carefully, and I'll offer reflections, questions, and tools as they feel useful. There's no rigid structure — every session is shaped around every unique person and what they need that day.

-
That's a completely valid concern, and I'd rather you tell me than quietly stop coming.
The therapeutic relationship matters enormously, and if something isn't working, we'll talk about it openly. If we decide together that a different therapist might serve you better, I'll help connect you with someone.
